SAM™ supports NDT through providing a simple & intuitive interface for the Shop Floor operative as well as a comprehensive reporting suite for the QA administrators all managed through a centralised web based software.
NDT is an abbreviation for Non-Destructive Testing, NDT is used whenever there are welds on components.
SAM™ can be integrated into any business to support NDT through the use of either a simple import process from existing data or a bespoke interface to create and manage item information.
SAM™ produces 4 distinct reports (Welded By Report, Visual Inspection Report, MPI Report & UT Report) from 1 simple user interface comprised of drop down boxes and selectable lists all managed from the web interface by the QA admin teams in the office, this reduces errors and time taken to fill in reports as well as ensuring that all the reports are available for the QA team to create the document packs for the client.
SAM™ produces distinct reports for all parts to the NDT Process (Dimensional, Visual Inspection Report, MPI Report, MPI Post Galvanising, UT Report & UT Lamination Report) from 1 simple user interface comprised of start & stop buttons and and integrated NCR system all managed from the web interface by the QA admin teams in the office, this reduces errors and time taken to fill in reports as well as ensuring that all the reports are formatted correctly & are available for the QA team to create the document packs for the client. SAM™ can also produce Weld Inspection Trackers & an overview report that displays all completed processes on an item or weld on both the Web App interface & PDF Reports.

The QA/QC & Inspection processes of structural steel businesses had & have issues with collecting information from the shop floor and collating that information into usable reports for clients.
